United Way of Northwest Arkansas values the trust its donors place in the organization and adheres to the highest standards in gathering, using and safeguarding donor information. This includes all of the donor’s personal and gift information. Because of this trust, United Way will not rent, trade, sell, or share any information about its donors.
The information we collect. If you choose to give to the United Way, your completed pledge form provides us with your name, address, e-mail address, and pledge information.
Your participation is voluntary. Your relationship with United Way is voluntary and confidential. We use your information to send you acknowledgment of your gift and information we think you may find of interest about United Way. If you do not wish to receive such communications, you may let us know at any time by contacting United Way.
Our commitment to data security To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. Firewalls prevent outside parties from accessing our database and internal United Way access to the database is restricted to authorized individuals.
Credit and debit card transactions. To help protect donors’ privacy, United Way only utilizes PCI Compliant third parties to process credit or debit card transactions. All contributions are final. If a donor or customer identifies an error in a transaction amount, wants to report unauthorized usage of their credit or debit card, or has other related concerns, please contact our Finance Department at 479-750-1221.
